Characterized as investment vehicles for companies that are not listed in stock markets. Its main target is to invest in high growth potential companies, for a period of no less than 8 years.
The private equity fund regulated by these rules is named “FONDO DE CO - INVERSIÓN CON EL FONDO DE INFRAESTRUCTURA ASHMORE I - FCP”, and it will be high risk, long term and it corresponds, according to article 188.8.131.52.2 of decree 2555, to a closed collective portfolio. The Compartment 1 will co-invest with Colombia Infrastructure Ashmore I in the direct or indirect acquisition of Promigas Telecomunicaciones S.A., a company that operates fiber optics metropolitan networks and in Mamut de Colombia S.A.S., a company dedicated to extra large and heavy lift cargo transport.
It is Ashmore Management Company (Colombia) SAS, a joint stock company properly created through a private document registered on September 22nd of 2009, business register number 0001935435, NIT 900.316.081-9 established in Bogota and subsidiary of Ashmore Group plc.
